Non - refund of Security Deposit

In the Sept of sales representative Zed Masri visited my house to make a presentation of the great windows that Home Imporvement King makes and install for a very good rate. After spending over almost 1 1/2 he convinced me to place an order for some windows with an option to cancel my orders within 3 days and get my initial depoist of 10% back, no questions asked. I cancelled my order before 3 days and asked for the refund of my 10% deposit. I was told that they will need 7 days time to process my refund. I waited for 7 days plus 3 days to receive my refund.

After not hearing from them, I called them and then was told that the dealing officer was waiting for approval from some higher authority and will send my refund as soon as it is done. I waited for another 15 days and then again called their office. This time someone informed me that the dealing person was on Christmas break and should call back 15 days.

Once again, I called in the 1st week of Jan 09, but there was no one but the answering machine and left a message. Since then, I have called several times to avail. Please be careful to all readers of this report who are thinking of such projects and if there is anyone who can help me get my money back., I'd be very greatful. I do really really need it.
