I noticed a extra fee on my phone bill which began three months earlier. I did notice it at first and continued to just pay my bill. I researched OAN and found endless complaints and reports filed by individuals regarding unauthorized fees attached to my phone bill.
I called OAN using the number on my bill and at first it took several attempts due to the fact their answering service as full and could not take anymore messages. So I waited on the phone and talked with a representative. She was polite, removed the charges, discontinued this unused, unauthorized fee and refunded to me the last three months in which this fee appeared. Since this just happened, only time will tell. I asked and received a confirmation number to verify I have discontinued this "free" 800 service. Good luck to anyone out there who runs into the same issue.
I have contacted AT&T to complain to them as well, only because it is their billing that is attaching this fee to my phone. I have emailed all of my friends and they will check their bills as well and those of us who did not ask for this service can have it removed and discontinued.
