All Towns and Country Movers were contracted to move furniture on October 3. The company promised a pickup between 10 AM - Noon on that day. At approximately 5 PM after many calls to the company and being told that the driver would call us within 30 minutes, we called another company and scheduled a pickup for that same evening.
We then cancelled the contract with All Towns as they never could give us a time that our furniture would be picked up. No agents or drivers ever returned our calls to them during this period. We had to keep calling.
The supervisor in charge apologized for the inconvenience and said he would remit my $120 deposit through the same credit card account through which it had been paid. No refund was ever received. Calls were made on Oct. 28 to Tammy, on Nov, 14 and on Nov. 21 to Andy (the supervisor) and again to Andy on Dec. 15. All calls resulted in my being told that the money would be returned to my account. It has never been returned!!!
I contacted the New Jersey Better Business Bureau who have become involved in my behalf. The company told the BBB that they had mailed something to me on Jan 5. As of January 29, I still have received no refund from this company.
