United states van lines, inc (fei# 810624226), owners by the last name, di sorbo, aldo and anthony, (family owned and protected mafia business owners)... Have many businesses they open and close on a constant basis for their deceptive ways of dealing with their clients/customers. I have been doing research on all their dealings for a while now and you will be sorry if you ever deal with them... Do not do business, at all with them!!! Please... You will be sorry...
They will tell you anything you want to hear to get your business and beat everyones quotes, that should have been a dead give-away... Justin garza, one of their reps, came to my home to give me an estimate and had to come back 3 times, because he could not get it right with the listed items and what was asked to be crated... They moved my whole entire home from miami, florida to texas... Once you sign the contract and schedule the dates, i made all my arrangements, they never once called, i had to be calling constantly to no answer and finally ask for the credit dept. For them to answer, because of course they thought they were getting some kind of payment...
They play with you and dont give you the correct names or return your calls, i had to pay hotel charges for shutting off my utilities and them not showing up when i was scheduled for my move... They finally sent their crew on a van line, other than united van lines on the truck, they sent american, which immediately i realized they were one family with split companies to cover them, because they both came and gave me different quotes on moving.
They were very unprofessional, the movers, they arrived with no crates which i had ordered for my valuables, such as mattresses, flat screen tv's, and mirrors, and said those things were done in their warehouse, which at that point i knew, they were lying obviously, but i had no choice, i had no utilities, children and animals and creeps in my home having no care, for my precious items... I had to be out of my home and on my way... They were in my home till 3am in the morninig, since they arrived late that afternoon, we had to start helping them undoing furniture and they even showed up without tools!!! My husband had to go to home depot and spend more money to buy tools and a drill...
When my furniture finally arrived, i was in total shock, even before they started unloading, the driver told me, you will be very disappointed, all your furniture is damaged, soiled and wet, " i have consistently told the owners this truck had a leak and they never fixed it, therefore most of your furniture is soaked.
I was just appalled by this, i was ready with my camera, and have proof of everything, license plate, pics of the inside of the truck, all my damaged goods, videos... And whatever i could record to have my proof of complete and utter disrespect for humanity, right here.
I was in tears, as i saw all of my stuff being brought down, and needless to say, these movers after a while as i am sure were tired, didn't even want to move the items to the rooms where they belonged, they were being huffy and pissy attitudes and put all my furniture back together very bad, my childs bunk bed is very flimsy, i caught them trying to put less wood slats, as they were putting them in the garage, i said uh, uh, those have to be put on the bed, these are for a childrens bed and for their safety. They kept saying, "what else mam???" i just started crying, in utter disbelief, i wonder if it was their belongings and their family, how they would be treating the items?
They scratched the wood floors on the home i am leasing, and when i asked the company to send me the forms to fill out for intent to file a claim, she never did, i have proof of everything which i keep.
I thought i was covered, i brought the insurance for which i will do a separate report, through the movinginsurance.com, which gave me hanover insurance to follow, with my claim, they sent restoration-plus from texas, immediately to take pics of all the damage, thad and his partner took all the notes and i have to say were very nice, while they were here and i did all they told me to do, i sent him all the pictures i had taken and gotten all the receipts together, did everything exactly the way i needed to do and then hanover had claim co inc, to do the rest, they are from ravensdale, wa. And i have pulled the corporation papers, it is a husband and wife owned company and they have no care as well for your well being as usual, but of the insurance companies.
With all that i have been thru and all the damages that they caused, i declared $21,929.66 and they sent me a letter covering only 2 items for $1450.00!!!
They say that the papers were tampered with, when the mover told me to write down, on everything wet and damaged like i did, and they scratched off everything else, because they said it didn't apply.
I am hurt, shocked and in tears...
They will all go down and have their day in court...
Please, please, whatever you do, pull corporation papers for all whom you do business with, come to consumer complaints, before doing business with anyone like this and also search the owners names and find out how many businesses they open and close... That should tell you to stay away...
