This has been the most awful experience i have yet to encounter with any business transaction i have ever done in my life, they have ruined all of my belongings and after much research, realized how stupid i was in falling prey into the hands of this mafia family built business.
They have over 15 different businesses and have to constantly change their business names and whereabouts due to the obvious negligence to take advantage of people and only take in as much as they can.
The sales rep, justin garza is trained to lie and say whatever they have to, to pull you in, and after you sign the agreement, you're it... He made so many mistakes, he had to come to my home 3 times to take the inventory over again. I had my most valuable items, paid to be crated for, guess what, they didn't... The scheduled me and never showed up or called for the day of the move, they wouldn't even answer their phones, only answering machines, i had to push payments/credit dept. So they would think i was making a payment for someone to answer the phone, my utilities were shut off by then since i was supposed to be out of my home, and with children and pets, had to spend more money to stay at a hotel, till they could schedule me in.
They finally did and came late in the afternoon, instead of the morning, sent 3 guys instead of 4 as promised and i had a 5 bedroom/5 1/2 bath, 2 story home to move. They did not bring the crates, they lied to me and said they crate in-house, which i knew was a lie, but at that point i had no choice... After of course buying them food and drink all day and night and giving them a tip each, they finally left my home at 4am and they still could not fit all my stuff in the truck, we had to go that night to another hotel till the next day, oh by the way, when the truck came originally, it wasnt united states van lines, it was american van lines, the other sister company, which gave us 2 different quotes from the beginning, these people are sly and very shady... They had no concern for my furniture/belongings, as i watched them, putting my items and shoving them in the truck, oh and how could i forget, get this, my husband had to go to home depot, cause they came without any tools or a drill??? Is that insane?
They took about 3 or 4 weeks to deliver our stuff, to texas, when they had promised us a delivery date, so we had nothing with us, could not even work and had to stay with family, (thank god).
Here's the good part, when they finally arrived, the driver says to me, before unloading, you will be very unhappy with the delivery, there is a leak in this truck that i have been telling the owner about for months and they never did anything about it, due to this, most of your stuff is all damaged, i was appalled... I was crying, watching everything coming out of the truck soaking wet, rusted, cracked wood furniture, all my clothes were stained, damaged and everything was soiled and smelled.
And even after all of this, the movers started getting impatient as we were telling them where to put the items, they didnt want to put the beds together, my childrens bunk beds are so flimsy, i do not even let them go on top for fear of an accident, my husband also had to supply them tools and drill, (i think they do it on purpose, so that you might say forget it). They scratched my wood floors, were very uncomfortable to have working inside your home with their attitudes, after all that had happened and till this day, they have not paid for any damages, refuse to send me the claim papers i asked for and the additional insurance i purchased through, insurance.com, that gave me hanover insurance, wants to only pay for 2 items that they gave claimco to take care of.
I will file another report for all the di sorbo's businesses, the hanover insurance and claimco from seattle wa., i have recorded videos of my stuff coming out of the truck, drenching wet and tons of pictures of the license plates, trucks, the moving men, and all my furniture and belongings, before and after. I will report to the better business bureau as well, since they give that little paper to their clients, but i love this website best, because you can honestly give your whole story...
Please!!! Do not do business with this company or family. Go to sunbiz.org and pull corporation papers and do your homework... Karma will do its work from here...
