My furnance went out early Monday morning. I called DTE early Monday morning and reported this situation. DTE told me someone would be out that day before 5P.M.
No one came out that day at all, and I missed work. Every time I called for their eta time was 30 mins, 1 hr, etc. No one came until Tuesday January 13, after 4 P.M. I was then told that the furnace had to be replaced, and DTE doesn't replace furnances.
What am I paying Home Protection Program to do what. They have done nothing satisfactory since I've been in this program.
People should be told this program is only for little bitty parts you may need, but not for real situations. I was without a furnance for 7 days, and the money I've paid I want it back.
