We have been having problems with the Bank of America in Turners Falls since the day we walked in. My fiance and I told the bank when we opened our accounts that we both wanted to be on the accounts. They have ignored us. It took us three and a half weeks to get our Bank of America Card in the mail. And most recently the Bank of America in Turners Falls has told us that they robbed us.
On February 13th my fiance went into Bank of America in Turners Falls MA and requested that we have all the checks that we wrote sent to us in a statement. He made very clear to the woman Pat, at Bank of America in Turners Falls, that the statements were very important and we could not wait three weeks like we had to for our card. The statement was very important because in November we wrote the Government a check for 875$, they said they did not get it and I was due in court February the 25th, in Pennsylvania, if I did not have proof that the check was sent to them and that they cashed it. I would owe another 875$ and have to pay round trip for a train ride to Philadelphia. She said that she understood and that it would be 6$ for the statements and that they would arrive on Wednesday the 20th. My fiance paid and left.
We waited until Friday February the 22nd and called a Bank of America help line to see what was going on with our statements. Turns out that the woman Pat from Bank of America In Turners Falls MA never even put in a request for our papers to be sent. We spoke with the man and he said that he was sorry and then faxed us our checking account checks to the Bank of America in Turners Falls MA and told us that they were free and we did not have to pay because they did not do their job.
We went in and my fiance spoke to a woman named Heidi from Bank of America in Turners Falls MA the fax had arrived but it had the wrong checks in it. My fiance explained that he had to call and get the statements faxed and that he wanted his 6$ back because the woman Pat did not do her job and send in the requests. Heidi refused saying that she could not give him his money back. My fiance got upset and said so you robbed me, you took my money and did not do as I asked. The woman was smiling and mocking him say "yes we robbed you". We walked out and called another Bank of America man he said that he was sorry and it turns out that after we left the Bank of America in Turners Falls MA the woman Heidi put the 6$ back on his card. The man said that he would send a fax of the right check to the Bank of America in Turners Falls MA. My fiances phone died but not before he gave the man my cell phone number. While my fiance was in school at about 3:25 I received a call from an unavailable number it was the man from Bank of America saying that he sent the fax to the Bank of America in Turners Falls MA and that it should be there in 15 minutes, but only my fiance could go in a pick it up with proper ID. I left my home at 3:50 to go pick my fiance up from school so he could get the fax. When we got there, 4:15, they said that there was no fax for him.
Furious my fiance sat on the phone trying to contact another Bank of America person that would help him. Sitting in the lobby I heard the woman Heidi look at her co worker and say "his mother must be so proud" sarcastically, in reference to my fiance. She looked over at him and saw me looking at her and she turned away. I said "Excuse me??!!" and she just ignored me. When my fiance got off the phone he said someone was going to fax another statement. I told him what the woman Heidi had said and he stood up and asked if she had said that and she mockingly laughed at him and said "I'm on the phone". My fiance got emotionally upset because his mother is deceased and it was very disrespectful of the woman Heidi to make ANY personal comments about his mother.
The argument continued and the Turners Falls Police came and my fiance sat in the car talking to an officer. I had to go wait outside in the snow, 5 months pregnant, while I saw the Turners Falls Police and the Bank of America in Turners Falls MA employee hug each other. I was very frustrated and felt so disrespected by Bank of America. After a while I sat in the car with my fiance and when the police and the Bank of America in Turners Falls MA employees were done "catching up" they came out with our fax. My fiance said "oh this is really good timing that when your here, the fax comes..." the cop started to shut our car door on my fiance saying "yea, yea".
When we got home we looked at the fax time stamp and the time it arrived was 3:48. They had had our fax the entire time.
I am disgusted by the service from Bank of America in Turners Falls MA. I have never felt more frustrated in my life. Heidi from Bank of America in Turners Falls MA disrespected my fiances deceased mother and Pat from Bank of America in Turners Falls MA took our money and did not request the forms that we had asked. I am asking that you do something about these two woman in Bank of America in Turners Falls MA I know their first names but not their last. I would get them but the Turners Falls Police told us that we're not allowed in the Bank of America in Turners Falls MA again. I do not think that you want your employees behind the desk disrespecting their clients and mocking them. I believe that Heidi and Pat of Bank of America in Turners Falls MA should be terminated for their lack of respect. I do not know weather it is the fact that we're not from around here, or our age, we did not get any respect, however it should not matter because everybody should be given the same amount of respect. Pat did not do her job correctly, for if she had, none of this would have been a problem, and Heidi openly disrespected a customers deceased mother and admitted to robbing my fiance.
I will be sending this email every other day to as many people as I need until I get a response from someone about what will be done with the employees at the Bank of America in Turners Falls MA. If i do not hear a response in a reasonable time I will go to the media about how Bank of America disrespects and robs its clients.
