In Oct I purchased a transmission from a vendor on ebay. I paid vendor with Paypal I purchased the transmission rebuilt form Phoenix Remantransmissions for 518.00 I was then told I need to pay them 300.00 dollars for shippinng and 350 for a core charge which was refundable when old transmission was shipped back. The 300.00 was for shipping both ways 150 each. When transmission arrived it was cracked. Contacted vendor and nothing happened. Filed a complaint with Pay pal #PP571-851-993 for 819.00 and #PP 599-857-212 for 350. Pay pal went into investgationg this complaints and awarded me my money. Now they will not pay me. They have a 2000.00 purchase protection guarantee and will not stand behind it. They told me the vendor has no funds in his account so they can not pay me. The transmission I had to send back and pay for shipping again by their rules. This cost me 150 more So now I have won my 350.00 which they will not pay and have cost me another 150.00 to ship transmission to a company that has no one working anymore. I am out 1319.00 so far and they still have not answed on what to do with the transmission that has no place to go. Paypal guarantees purchases through them and I did everything right now they will not refund my money. The vendor will not even respond to my questions so I went through the channels and got nothing for my 1319.00
