Experian Credit
My Credit Record

On April 18 I was cleared of a Tax Lien by the State of Iowa Department of Revenue. The State of Iowa was taxing me for income earned and not reported. I was able to prove that I did not live in the state and did not earn income. As a result of the proof, the lien against me was released. I later came to find that this lien was made public record which then appeared on my Experian Credit report. On Oct. 22 I wrote a letter of appeal to Experian as it is effecting my credit score that I have worked very hard at to keep in the 800's or at least high 700's. On Nov. 6, I did get notification back from Experian that public record would not be removed and it would stay on for 10 years.in 2008 I did consult with Larry Melcher, Attorney at Law who informed me that I would have pursue the State of Iowa Dept. Of Revenue to have this record "expunged. "within the last week, I have since spoken with the State of Iowa Dept of Revenue who has directed me to this web site to file a complaint againt Experian Credit Bearu and demand that this be removed from record on my credit report. It is my intent to sell and buy a home within the next 3 to 6 months. I have what ever proof you need from the Iowa Department of Revenue and they support me and are willing to provide any other proof necessary to have this record removed from my credit reports. Please help me in my case to clear my record.in advance, thank you for your time. Vickie B. Gilph: 402-681-5124
