Won't Give Me A Free Credit Report I've been trying to get my free annual credit report from the three major CRA's

Experian has refused to send me a free annual credit report for several months. First they sent me a letter saying I'd already received my free annual report, which isn't true. If Experian sent somebody a copy of my credit report within the past year, that somebody wasn't me! Next, I applied for a credit card, got declined due to information in an Experian credit report, so I wrote to Experian requesting a copy of my credit report as is my right when denied credit. Experian wrote back saying they needed to verify my current mailing address. I don't have a drivers license in the state I currently live in, or a state ID, military ID, utility bill, or insurance statement.

I sent Experian photocopies of current paystubs with my name and address. I also sent them an enlarged copy of my social security card, a copy of the decline letter from the bank that turned down my credit application, also a copy from a page of an old Experian credit report they sent to me. I enclosed this information with a letter providing my addresses for the past two years, and my date of birth.

For the fourth time, Experian has again refused to send me a copy of my credit report. This time they want a copy of a government issued ID card —which I don't have. I don't own a car and therefore don't have a drivers license in the state where I currently live and work. I've never been in the military, don't pay separate utilities, don't receive any paper insurance or banking statements.

I don't understand why it's suddenly so difficult for me to get what's mine. I do know that my credit report contains several errors, including but not limited to a judgment that was voluntarily dismissed by the collector that wrongfully sued me. I'm beginning to wonder if somebody stole my identity.

I did file complaints with the FTC, and will continue to write the CRAs to get my reports. Trans Union has alos been dragging its feet on giving me my credit report. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
