12/9 I trying to support a bakery in a shopping center that almost everyone except for full meal establishments. I went in, looked at the Cupcakes, I thought that I would ask if they could make a Coconut Cake, the owner said sure! I ordered it with another young woman, I went into great detail how I wanted it made, yellow cake, she asked if I wanted some kind of jelled filling, I said no, just a normal Coconut Cake, Icing between the layers mixed with Coconut and the whole outside covered in icing with Coconut on the entire surface. The young woman asked if I wanted butter cream frosting, I said well, usually white icing is used, but I will accept butter cream she was writing something down, but I couldn't see it, and when she asked me my name, I said "Pamela", this is a very common name and everyone knows how to spell it unless they are from another country! She spelled it wrong and spelled it back to me and I said no, it is spelled P a m e l a, then because she seemed so embarrassed, I said I had a really bad car accident last week and I sometimes wonder how to spell it my self, which was a joke, the not remembering part. They said that I had to put half down, when I pulled out a $50 bill she look scared, I am not sure, but I felt sorry for her and said, I will just pay for the whole thing. 12/10 I sent my daughter to get the cake, it was a Gourmet Cake, did not look anything like I had ordered, my daughter called me, I asked for them to give her a refund, they refused. I said well I am not happy and I am coming up there. She said that she would call the police. So when I walked up to the door she was waiting, I had done nothing wrong. I dialed 911, she obviously was angry. I was trying to stay outside but I tried to get the address and the 911 operator couldn't figure it out, so I walked in and got the address. Before I did anything, she started calling 911, now she not even heard my reason for calling 911 because I was outside, this is the kind of person that she is. I was waiting for the 991 person to come back and I said, "you don't need to call 911 because I already did." She looked disappointed. She said that I had never given the other girl any description of the cake at all. The owner had gone back into the kitchen and did not here the order, which I was not given a copy of like other bakeries do! I just told the woman that the cake was nothing like I ordered and just please give me my money back, she crossed her arms and said I don't give money back. I said that have a small business, I have owned two, her vocabulary was very limited, she said "this is not some big corporation", I said my business were both small and if one of my employees had made a mistake, I would make it good. She just kept saying "I stand behind my employees" I pointed to the girl that was either telling a lie or had no idea what she was doing and had messed up and was trying to cover up and I said "she is telling a lie! The owner Wynette just kept repeating herself "I stand behind my employees, and my retort was when one of my employees lied I fired them!
