This Bakery has no respect for its customers at all!
My husband and I were referred to this bakery for our wedding cake,
When we went in for cake testing we discussed what can or can not be used and what should or should not be used for the wedding cake because we were having an outdoor wedding and it was on July 7th
So we knew that there would be limitation as to what we could get because of the heat factor so we made our choices based on that.
We requested a Red Velvet Cake with 3 Tiers and the Middle Tier was to have an artificial Cream Cheese Filling in it that would withstand the heat (As the Baker Valarie suggested)
And the Icing Would be a DARK Burgundy Red and Black to go with the whole wedding theme.
Valarie said in her own words that "she was glad we choose a Dark Red for the cakes icing because it will make it easier for her to cover the cake with that alot of customers order a light colored icing and it makes it hard to cover the dark colored cakes"...
Well on the Wedding day once we arrived at the RECEPTION the cake was already there and set up and Valarie was no wheres to be seen,
So i could not bring it to her attention right away... BUT...
The cake icing was not a Dark Burgundy Red and Black it was PINK AND BLACK and it was missing some parts for the castle topper of the cake...
The castle topper was not complete like we picked out and requested...
And also there was NO Cream Cheese in the middle Layer like we requested and Paid for.
And now she refuses to give any kind of refund and said that she tried to get the icing to turn red but that it just would not Darken so she felt that was the best she could do and that was how i was going to be,
And she also made the decision to omit the Cream Cheese from the middle layer on HER own choice with out even discussing it with the Groom and I at all!
So in my eyes this Bakery has no respect for its customers at all and i would not recommend anyone getting there wedding cakes made at this place AT ALL!!!
