AT&T Bundle Plan
Is a huge gigantic rip-off. Stay away from at&t!

In april i decided to try & make things simple for myself by bundling several services, so i cancelled my charter cable and internet, i cancelled my us cellular and gave att a call to bundle all these services for me. The first person i spoke with told me they would bundle my 4 cell phones, my dish network, my telephone, and my dsl internet all for $214 a month, well i thought this was fantastic, it took them almost "3" months to bundle everything, at this time they weren't billing me at all, i would call them and NONE of these departments had any knowledge of the others or any documentation about other services, i have spent "9" months and endless hours on the phone with these people at ATT!

I would hang up with each individual person and think finally this person will be the one to help, and of course they did nothing! They even told me they would send me a cash reward for bundling everything and they never have, i might as well have stayed with individual companies because dealing with att for 9 months i had to call 4 different departments every time i had a question about my billing plus they tossed mu call around transfer to transfer & everyone was very polite and nice enough to always say "thank you for choosing ATT" but i wasn't thankful i chose att at all, they finally started billing me and the bills began at about $700 for the months they had not billed me, the bills were much higher than i had originally made the agreement for and they billed me 4 months straight for internet on both my landline and my dsl line when i only has dsl internet on the dsl line, the wireless service had many problems, dropped calls, or sometimes dead phones alltogether, we would call them and they would have us take the batteries out of the phones, turn them off etc to see if this would fix the problem, what a hassle this has been hell for nine months!

Why would this company offer a bundle and make it seem like your dealing with one entity and one bill but in fact you are still dealing with 4 different entities and none of them have info on any of the other services and/or bills??? I finally called them earlier today and they told me that with the balance on the account and cancelling my contract with them it will cost me over $1,500! Of course "SOME" of this was the service i received but by the time they did bundle and send a bill, (including amounts for services i did not receive) it was so high i couldn't afford to pay it all, i tried over and over again to pay over the phone, and a recording would say "you have a bundles account, let me transfer you, and it would transfer me to someone who could never see the "entire bill" and the portion they could see always said -0- balance! Then i tried to enroll online to pay and they're horrible online service would ring your phone and give you a bogus "code" to enter online which never worked! And i was never allowed to make payments online.
And although i will have to put this on a credit card, i am willing to do so, so that i will never have to deal with AT&T ever again.

In addition to just make this entire experience more of a nightmare, they told me that just like it took them almost 3 month to bundle all the bills it will now take them about the same time to UNBUNDLE it all, at which time they will still be billing me i assume, so the $1,500 that i have to pay will probably increase for me now, and there is just nothing i can do about it,
STAY AWAY FROM AT&T!!! This company is a monster and thrives on horrible customer service in every way!!! I will never do any kind of business with them again and i will advise everyone i know and meet to stay away!!!
