AT&T customer service COST ME A BUNDLE! - Bundled Phone, TV & Internet

We wanted to bundle our phone, internet, wireless and direct TV. After research on the internet and a phone call we were led to believe we could bundle all four for $189.00. What a crock! We were directed to sign up for wireless (since we already had phone/internet services with ATT). After purchasing two new phones and losing our long term cell phone numbers for almost $200.00 we were advised that we could not bundle our DirecTV. Our saving would be $5.00 per service by bundling. However the catch - we had to get a different land line feature (only $26.00 per month). When we got our first bill for $287.00 (don't forget we sent $200 for phones) I felt raped. There was no reason to BUNDLE - only reason was to get me to spend a ridiculous amount of money for services that I didn't need or want.in the end I "DEBUNDLED" - I'm still burned by the new cell phone - no benefit - just lost of my previous number. My first bill (reality check) came more than 30 days - exactly 35 days after I bought the phone (buyers regret policy had expired). All the activiation charges and fees and upfront billing charges. Don't buy into bundling - who is saving money - YOU or ATT making money off of you. Since I am retired and on a fixed income this was a COSTLY lesson. DirecTV even raised their rates to boot last month. I'm almost to the point that I plan to HULU my shows and forget the TV. After I release me from this 2 year slave contract with ATT - I'm going back to prepaid phones. Never again will I be duped by a BUNDLE.
