Dell sent me a defective computer and refused to replace it insisting that they repair it. Dell has not been able to fix the computer in 1 year. The computer will not start and has "HARDWARE MALFUNCTION; SYSTEM HALTED" error messages.
Dell has replaced all the hardware once and now gave me the option of 1. Replacing the hardware again or 2. Replacing the computer with a refurbished computer returned by another unhappy customer.
The computer never worked properly since I received it, I have over 100 e-mails with Dell, over 50 tech calls, hundreds of hours trying to let Dell fix the computer and weeks without a working computer, waiting for Dell.
Dell has not been able to fix my computer in 1 year and will NOT REPLACE MY COMPUTER WITH A NEW COMPUTER because I've had it for 1 year. It's a catch 22, when new they would not replace it but insisted on fixing it but since they can't fix it they say it's too old to replace with a new computer.
I paid for a working computer which I never got. I did receive lots of headaches dealing with Dell and received a lot of double-talk but never a reliable computer I could sit down, turn on and use without error messages.
