My "free trial" was not free. The deal was supposed to be that if I cancel within the 30 day "free trial" that I wouldn't be billed (which I did). Now they are saying that I just canceled today (3/9/05) when I really canceled back on 2/15/05 (I had until 2/18/05) and have an email from them to prove it.
Now they email that I need to send the amount of the bill they sent??? I also got a rude customer service rep with very poor english and seemed think it was funny for me wanting to cancel. He tried to talk me into keeping the service for $3 or $4 per year, sounds great, right, but then you you get the bill from your own telephone company and there is a $10 feature charge and another $6 or $7 for this so called "free trial".
You can get the same service through your local phone company with out having to deal with a 3rd party such as Callwave, so save yourself the headache. I wish I would have read the rip off reports before I gave them a try.
