I was contacted at work with the threat of being arrested for not repaying a loan to a company I have never heard of. The man said I could settle for half the amount that was due. It was well over 3000. He said I could pay with a debit or credit card. I informed him I did not have the money, he wanted to know how much I could pay him right then.
I received another call with him threatinig to have me arrested again. When I try to call the number that showed up on my caller id at home, I am told it is not a working number. When I dial the other number he gave me it is always busy.
The name that showed up on my caller id was a totally different name than the one he gave. I never received any kind of letter in the mail or any other kind of contact until the phone calls started.
