I spent thousands of dollars on a device that was shipped with full insurance from a FedEx shipper and transported by FedEx Ground. The machine arrived broken in several ways and was inspected by a FedEx agent. He confirmed that the shipping had damaged the item but said that it wasn't their fault. How can this be? Now the agent who packed the box won't answer my dozens of attempts to call him. The full insurance I paid for is no use to me because they tell me I can't file the claim. The shipper has been paid and he is in Canada. It's pretty hard to go after him or the shipping agent, who is in Canada as well. Fedex caused $ 1500.00 in damage to my machine and it is costing my company thousands of dollars in down time. All the want to do is pass the buck. This stinks!!!
