They kept my deposit for apt that was left spotless.
Landlord from hell, wouldn't fix anything that was wrong in my apartment. Was told everything would be fixed when I moved out. I went 5 months with a bowl under my kitchen sink because of a leak, had my front door broken from an attempted break in and constantly harassed by his maintenance men. I went 2 weeks without being able to lock my front door till finally my brother came over and fixed it for me. I couldn't put up curtains on my sliding doors because the water poured in everytime it rained. Took 6 months to get that fixed. He cursed at my sons constantly and threatened him. I moved out after being told my sons and I were not wanted there. I left the apartment spotless, even patched the holes from picture nails. It has been 8 months now and he still will not give me my deposit or even a letter stating why he won't return it. We go to court on the 19th of Dec. To battle it out. Luckily I taped every room in the apartment when I moved. Wish me luck!!!
