Orangewood Apartments - La Terreza Apartments Rip off - Lied

I moved into these apartments (they changed their name from OrangeWood to La Terreza) on Oct. 1 2007. It has been the worst two months EVER!!! If I had known about these apartments before hand I would have never moved in! I have had many complaints since I have moved in only three months ago.

First off the sign outside the apartment complex said "$99.00 move-in" when in reality I was charged $234.00, a big jump from the $99.00! I even moved into a studio like they said to get the discount. They also told me that all apartments are being or had been remodeled, this is another of the many lies. I was never given the chance to recieve a walk through of the apartment (it was never offered to me.) When I arrived to the apartment the carpets were stained, and dirty. The place did not look like the model they had showed me and it was a complete mess! I was stunned. The cabinets had this sticky thick stuff all over them and the front door, closet door and bathroom door had been painted over with so much thick paint they stick and are extremely hard to open. I guess I learned my lesson from moving into this apartment complex.

I was never given a laundry room key or a mailbox key. When I asked for them a couple of days after I moved into the place they said to check back in two days. I did so and they told me the same thing. I was getting annoyed with the place... Still to this day I have never recieved the key to either the mailbox or the laundryroom. This also gave me no access to my mail, which caused many other problems, due to their poor customer service.

I had ask them many times to fix numerous of these problems in the apartment, and one of them got fixed. The garbage disposal was broken causing water to back up into the sink and I called them twice about this and it was never fixed. So I had to get it fixed myself. I looked at these apartments expecting to have a great living experience and now i'm not even considering this a fair living experience. I would say, close to poor, if not BAD. I didn't appreciate being lied to and recieving poor customer service.
