Beware of wachovia!
So. Friday I deposited 50 dollars in cash in banking account only to purchase a few movies from Amazon. And Monday another 380.00 in cash in my banking account and James' purchased a few things. Turns out I had overdrafted even though I had money in my account to cover everything we had brought.
First I called the customer services and kept getting hung up on before i could even talk to anyone and finally when i did he couldn't explain it. So today we went to the bank, the lady at the counter couldn't understand or explain how it had over drafted and sent us to her very very rude manger who also raised his voice multiple times in front of my one year old and i could understand that if we would have been being assholes but we were i was just trying to explain the problem and than explained since it was cash it goes into my fund immatedaly which is also the same that a teller had told me before i had ever made purchases but that i could only of used it at our local walmart or the atm machine but not online therefore I'm overdrafted even though the money was there. So now we owe about 400 dollar and probably more oh but nice ol' wachovia did throw in a whole 70 dollar to it THANKS A BUNCH!
Now I have been with Wachovia for over 5 years now and they have on several different times screwed up my account for example once i deposited over 500 dollar but it was nowhere to be found on my account and i once again had to go sort things out but at least they weren't jerks that time! I also looked it up on usacomplaints. Coms.com and it has almost 500 complaints about wachovia scaming people with the overdraft fees
It would be one thing if i would of purchased things and had no money in the account to cover it but i did and the purchase they covered were the three large ones so that they would have more overdrafted fees instead of just 3 there is 8.
After this is all done I NEVER-EVER use Wachovia again and will preach to anyone who wants to listen about why they should bank somewhere else!
