Every purchase I have made that has been overdrafted, Wachovia has charged me fees three times for. I didn't catch it at first, so they got my money and I can not get it back. As the branch manager states "You only have a three month period Wachovia can go back on and view". The most recent issue is - Purchase made on the 8th, overdrafted, yes, my fault (But, my direct deposit came at midnight on 9th)- Charged two fees at one time on the 8th for when the purchase was on "Debit card hold", then charged a second round of fees when the SAME PURCHASE got debited from my account on the 9th. Altogether, just this year, going back to January, I have PAID Wachovia bank almost $2,000.00 in Wachovia Overdraft/Unavailable funds fees. I went into the Raintree Financial Center, and they refunded only $200.00 of the money, because that is as far back as they could credit me for.
Wachovia bank is banking to get money and make money, not to help hold money, like banks are there for.
I will be canceling my Wachovia account and taking my business else where.
