Tmobile
I am being charged for 2 mobnths of service for a product I NEVER USED and RETURNED TO Tmobile

I purchased an air card 5/16/08. I was told that if I "wanted to return the product " I "should open the box and use the return label and include a letter of buyer's remorse". And, that I "would not incur any fees" by doing this.

I went outta town 5/24/08-6/1/08 and promptly did as described above and Tmobile recieved the returned air car 6/4/08. I was credited $160.49 on 6/9/08.

Today 7/1/08 I recieved a call from Tmobile that I was "overdue in billing and would have to pay a $20.00 service fee for reconnection". Although I paid I paid my cell bill on 6/25/08 I went ahead and gave another payment thinking that it was still for my cell account THEN I asked to be transferred to customer service

Customer service rep was very helpfull at first, by crediting my cell account the amount I paid today to the air card acount (thinking I was paying on my cell account to begin with) because the air card should have been cancelled by my letter of cancellation under buyer's remorse!

I told the rep and her supervisor that I had cancelled the air card under buyers remorse. Which both the rep and her supervisor stated was done correctly and adjusted as much of the fees and taxes as they could BUT I was "being charged $33.59 for 2 billing cycles"!

Again and again I reiterated that I NEVER used the product and was told to "open the box and place a letter of cancellation in there" by a Tmobile rep, and I would "not incur any fees". When I asked why was I told to open the box instead of refusing it, the rep said so it would not be lost in UPS and therefore could miss the timeframe of buyer's remorse. I again asked why as this is what the called me as " taking posession" of the said merchandise! Since I "took possession " = I incurred a fee???!!!

I am being charged $14.93 for the prorated 1st months bill, THEN $18.66 for the 2nd months bill!!! Totaling $ 33.59 for 2 billing cycles, because they end on the 20th of each month. I again reiterated that Tmobile had possession of the returned product on 6/4/08, and I only purchased it 5/16/08, sent it back without ever using it, under buyers remorse, and was credited $160.49 by Tmobile on 6/9/08 (the original price of the aircard) thereby further proof of my nonusage.

The supervisor said I was required to pay the two moth billing fees. I argued that maybe I would not mind paying the $14.93 for the 1st month EVEN though I NEVER used the product; BUT why was I being charged the second month? The supervisor kept saying "the policy states" that I must pay.

I have the Head of Tmobile fax and email, which he will be recieving this letter as well.

I am very upset that I am being charged 2 months of a product I NEVER USED! I also called the same day to I purchased this product (by calling tmobile sales over my cell instead of online your are apparently in a worse position for changes or cancellingservices) and told them I wanted to cancel the transaction that same day, as Tmobiles aircard are obsolete for the newer wireless notebooks. Which as I am not computer savy to begin with, I was sold this air card by the salesmen stating "Tmobiles aircard can fit in almost any notebook" which is not true. Only the older models use their type of air card. The sales rep stated he "could not cancel my new purchase the same day as it was a new account and it would lost in crossover. So when the package arrives just open it, place the letter in..." ect as stated above.

I will continue to fight this battle until I win! I should not have to even pay the 1st month of service let alone the second month for a product I NEVER used! I have been a LOYAL customer of theirs since 2000! I cannot believe the vulgarity of this bill!
