Takes advantage of low credit by selling a car for more than half the worth and it mechanical issues

Same song and dance as the other rip off car hop reports. Got the car when I was in a pinch and needed to get back and forth to work where there is no bus route. Got the car and did not receive the price until I signed. My fault for signing. I figured sure i will pay this it seems to be in good condition and I knew I was going to pay more than what it is worth because they deal with high risk credit consumers. I had the car a month and ended up having to have friends and dealerships fix it because it was falling apart every time something was fixed. Had it looked at by the dealerships "mechanic" shops and was to no help. I was told the Warranty only covered the engine. Everything that was going wrong with it would have made the engine blow out had I of not fixed it. I told them this and they said "Well, if you let the engine blow on it we won't cover it because you let the car go." I wanted to give the car right back, as a matter of fact i tried to ask if they would refinance so i could afford to fix it, turn it in for a different car or just give it back and lose the money I have already paid on it and they said they would putit on my credit as a Repot.

I admit signing and being in a vulnerable position, but it is known to them that everyone that walks in there is in a vulnerable position. That to me is taking advantage. I dont think there is a law for that, however I believe it is unethical practice that your business tactics. Most of the cars there are repot's and car hop is still collecting off of the previous signed contract plus collecting off of your payments. That is how these people stay in business, it is disappointing. Reporting good credit payments to the bureaus is not happening either, which is why half the people go there to begin with.

This is not a way people should be allowed to conduct business, that being said with current problems with my car still on the rise, I will happily go to court with anyone who has a suit or that is planning on filing one. It seems hopeless at first, but when you read the reports and see how many people this truly does hurt more than help, it is worth it to start somewhere with someone else that is recieving the same treatment. I have read more than 15 reports from sites, that is enough people to me... With the same song and dance.
