Auto Claims - KEN Failure to honor entire auto repair fee

I bought my 2001 Isuzu Rodeo with 85k miles on it on July 25. On July 26 the transmission light came on and I was told that the transmission needed to be replaced. I should have returned the vehicle to the rinky dink dealership that I purchased it from.
So, warrantech denied the claim stating that the damage to the transmission was "pre-existing."
I'm positive that it was, but that is why one buys an extended warranty/service contract.
Secondly, everything on a used car is pre-existing!

The dealer ended up paying for the the tranny (as he should've). 6k miles later the motor goes. After a one oil change (which I kept the receipt from) and a nice, expensive BG induction service, new michelin tires and a wax job. I file the claim and have it towed to their "reccomended facility" The mechanic takes off the valve cover and oil pan, shows Warrantechs inspector the bearing material in the motor and the inspector, as well as Warrantech advise me that they need to see more.
And that I need to authorize a tear down to the bearings, with no gaurantee that Warrantech will pay out on the claim.
I authorized the tear down, and after all of the waiting from Warrantechs inspectors (3 weeks), I still do not have a rental car.
At the 3.5 week period, I called Warrantech to ask if they have accepted the claim. I was told several times that ".. The claim is moving forward..." they WOULD NOT at any time say that they had accepted the claim? Shady.
Then, warrantech told me that they will pay for all but $500.00 of the claim?

This boiled down to the (unneccessary" tear down to the bearing just so that they could get a photo of the failed part.
My mechanic offered them a great view of the bearings when he took off the oil pan/valve cover-the bearings were all over the engine, shredded.
So, here I am, fussing with this shady warranty company who makes decisions behind closed doors and keeps the client out of all decisions and pricing untill they want to saddle bag you with some random percentage of a totally legit repair bill.
I spoke to the owner of the repair facility and his labor times and numbers from Alldata match those from Ultimate pontiac/GMC/Isuzu (the dealership)
as well as 4 other local certified mechanics that use Mitchells and Alldata as their labor guide.
Is it convenient to pay for the rental car AFTER the repairs have been made.
Sure, but to whom. But, this matter is not about convenience, It's about honoring a contract.
So, where exactly does Warrantech come up with these numbers? What is "fair" to Warrantech. I have filed complaints with both the BBB and consumer complaint department.
In other complaints against warrantech, I see comments from Warrantech employees stating that they are only a "facilitator" or "care taker of the policy/warranty" whatever the case may be, my experience with Warrantech ahs been the worst of my life. I have worked for reputable companies all of my life, and it's not hard to know a shady company when run across one.
Ken, in the claims department is about the meanest, most unprofessional/discourteous person I've ever had the misfortune of speaking to.
I don't find it conincidence that if you google "Warrantech" all you see is complaints, better business bureau complaints, and lawsuits against Warrantech.
Warrantech needs to honor the provisions of my contract and pay for ALL REPAIRS. I will hold up my end of the deal by paying the $100 deductible and even the towing.
There is more to this claim, but as I have retained the services of a lawyer, I should not comment on it untill I have filed my civil suit with Warrantech for the balance of the repairs.
I will make it my lifes work to educate all consumers about the practices of this, less than reputable company.
