Falsifying customer records and over charging for bogus contracts

I spoke to a direct tv representative in september concerning charges for dvdr that was not in use in my home. The operator told me that the installer that came to my home, was not to install equipment that was not connected to a television set.

I was told that i would be taken off of the 24 month contract that i was put under and given a 12 month contract for the confusion. I returned the equipment that was not in use and still have the packing slips. I was also given a 10 credit a month for the 12 months that i was given. (i have records)

I am currently being charged 24 months and the supervisor told me that there was nothing that could be done, even though the operator had made these arrangements, there was nothing that could be done. I believe that direct tv are rip off artist and i hope that anyone interested in their services thinks twice.
