Sprint PCS
Rip off right from the beginning Harrisburg Pennsylvania

I got Sprint service from a mall in July. They gave me a credit line of $200. Two days after the connect, my service was suspended because the charge was $207. The charge was $207 the day they connected, because I got two lines. One for me and one for my son, but if they were going to suspend service two days later, why did they start the service in the first place? I paid the $207 and the service was restored, but over the next six months, I was suspended three times. My son kept going over on his minutes, so they suspended both lines, although they told me we had a family line and I only used about 1/3 of my minutes. I was under the assumptio that if he went over his minutes, they would subtract from my minutes until the limit was reached, and they confirmed that this was so, but each time he went over his minutes, they suspended the phones and I would pay the bill to have it on again. Most of the time, I would have to pay them over $300. Finally in exasperation, I wrote the Bureau of Consumer Protection about them. What, then happened was, they discontinued my sons service, gave me a zero balance and we started over with only me having a phone. My first bill after that was $2, but needless to say, if I called about a problem, they would add something to my service and charge me, eventough I did not add, nor ask them to add anything. Well I threatened them with contacting the Bureau of Consumer Protection again and they finally left me alone, but only after a shutoff by them and my complaint that I would not pay for early termination when I did not terminate, they did, and I was going to make sure the Bureau of Consumer Protection would know of their adding things that I did not ask for, nor would I pay for. Well I got through my 2year contract without any more problems with them. I have been with them going on 4years now, but I won't renew a contract, no matter what they offer and when I want to upgrade, I go to circuit city, and take their display models for about as much as I would pay for a phone if I used the insurance to get a phone. I then insure the new phone and go from there. I have a $400 bluetooth phone with a camera, that cost me $59., I no longer have any problems with Sprint.
