I was divorced in Aug I had 3 lines with my ex-wife. Having attempted to seperate the contract several times with SPRINT and always getting the runaround i finally decided to cancel.in feb i called to stop the service (i finally had the money for the early cancellation fees) My phone was turned off. I did not know at the time but SPRINT only shut off my line and left my ex-wifes active. For over the last year she has beeen using the service added more lines and even upgraded all the phones (obligating me to another two years service) I had no idea i still had an active sprint account, never recieved phone calls or any billd from them. Aug i recieved a call from SPRINT collections agency, they say i owe $735 and that they have suspended my account. It seems she hasnt paid them in awhile.
I tried talking to them and asking them why the account was still active. They would not admit to making a mistake, and to make matters worse they want the money and they want early termination fees on all 3 phones.
I know its not 100% SPRINTS fault, but they trest you like crap, and why on earth woulf they allow someone not to pay thier bill for so long.
The account was only in my name, and yet they couldnt contact me to ask if new lines or upgrades were ok, but they sure found my att number quick when they wanted thier money.
I would say avoid them, but then again are there any cel companies without problems ATT has its own issues as well
