Would not put the account in the correct accountholders name, NY

This account, 4120-6130-xxxxxxxxxxxxx, is NOT supposed to be in my name. I had all of the necessary paperwork filled out, by myself and the person whom opened the account, mailed in LAST YEAR. I am still receiving bills for this account and since it is not my responsibility I am not obligated to pay it, but the account is still in MY NAME, thus on MY CREDIT REPORT and not the correct accountholder's, which is not ME.

I have spoken with several of your? Customer service representatives? About this account and they all keep telling me that the account isn't in my name and I shouldn't be receiving any more correspondence related to this account but I am still receiving bills in MY NAME, so something isn't adding up. This only leads me to believe that the? Customer service representatives? Of MERRICK BANK are NOT doing their job, at least not correctly.

This situation needs to be corrected IMMEDIATELY. I have done nothing more than be patient with MERRICK BANK, and I don't want to have to take further legal action with your company, when a situation such as this should have been taken care of a long time ago.
