Ripoff $298 unauthorized withdraw

I guess you can say that it happened to me TWICE. About the middle of August last year, I received a phone call from a telemarketer. He said something about me being a target for Identity Theft and was wondering if I wanted it. I told him sure only if it was free. He said that it was. Then he went ahead and starting explaining to me that he needed me to verify some things but that I was only to say "Yes" or "No". I agreed because it was being recorded. He recited the usual things: Name, Address, Phone, and my bank. He then started asking me if my account number was correct. Wanted me to tell him what it was. I didn't do it... And I hesitated. Told him no and he simply just repeated my account information. I thought he was for real. So I answered yes to everything.

A few days later, I went to check how much I had in my account and it was overdraft. I was shocked (I just got paid). So I called my bank and they told me that they can stop it but can't promise me that it won't happen again.

I remember at the end of the conversation with the telemarketer he gave me a number if I had any problems. I called the number and talked to the highest ranking person there. I'm not sure what his name was, but he assured me that the person who phoned me that day will be taken care of. Then he and I both listened to the recorded conversation. It was in fact Altered! So the man I was talking to, apologized to me and that was the end of it. Or so I thought.

Every so often, I would receive a phone call at home about me being a target for Identity Theft. I ignore it and tell them I'm not home. Then one night, I received a call. My brother picked up and gave me the phone to talk to whoever was on the other line.

I said "Hello, this is Anna."

The foreign man said "How are you tonight?"

I said "Fine and what is this concerning?"

The foreign man said "I'm calling to ask you if you're HOT?"

I said "What!"

He then went ahead and started asking me if I was wearing any panties and what size bra I had on. I was so disgusted and angry that I hung up on him. He had the nerve to call back and asked me if I was fingering myself. I again hung up the phone.

So every time I get a phone call from someone like them people, regardless if it is a man or woman. I ask for their superior/supervisor. I explain to them what happened and tell them to take me off of their list. They just tell me that they can't do anything and if I don't allow them to protect me then I will always get phone calls from them.

Now on the date in question Sept. 8 is the day that the transaction was done. I was sick that day and sleeping majority of the day. Today I found out about the $298 taken out of my checking account. I immediately called my bank told them that it was unauthorized. The person I was talking to gave me the 866 number. I called and got a recording. I then called my bank again about 2 hours later and had them make a STOP payment on the check that was used. I was furious that it happened to me again.

I am in desperate need to make this thing STOP! I hate this feeling of always changing my bank account. I WILL NOT let them badger me this way! If anyone knows how to stop these people, please feel free to contact me and I will help as much as I can also.
