Painfully slow prossessing to remove name from telemarketing list

Sprint's telemarketing system is horrible. I received a phone call about 1 week ago, asking how we liked our Sprint service and if there was anything they can do to help or any upgrades we might want. I told him "no, it's fine and don't need anything else".

May 6th, about 9am, I received another call only this time asking to speak to my wife. I asked "can I tell her who's calling and what it's about?" It was a Sprint telemarketer! I told them that we had a call last week.

The SAME DAY, this time about 3pm, guess who called? Yep, another SPRINT TELEMARKETER! This time I asked to speak to their supervisor. After telling this person what happened, they said "I will take you name off the list" which is fine.

May 7th, about 10:45am, guess who called again for my wife. You got it! Another Sprint telemarketer! This time I really lost it, poor girl. She told me that it would take 90 DAYS before we are out of the Sprint telemarketing system! She did say that I could expedite this by calling 888-633-7714.

I did. After going about 4 rounds deep into the automated answer system, they tell you how to get a customer service specialist. I have to wait on hold at least 10 minutes more before I talk to a real person. Finally, a lady answered, but told me "our computers are down, you'll have to call back". NO!!! I told her everything that's happened, but she said "you will need to call another office at 888-633-7714 and we hung up.

I dialed the new number and it hit me... IT WAS THE SAME NUMBER! Some customer service! This time I talked to Syrica who asked me our phone number which I calmly gave to her. Then she asked the name on the account, so I gave her my name (which is on our home phone #), but she said "that's not the name on the account" at which time I gave her my wife's name. Then she asked "do you have your statement? I need some information off that before I can help you." I blew a gasket and told her we've had 4 calls from Sprint within a week and I want to talk to her supervisor.

Now, I get Bethany on the line. I go through the whole story again, for the 3rd time today. She will put our name and number on their no-call list, but it'll take 60 days. 60 days!!! I told her Im home, unemployed and looking for work. I dont want to be bothered having to answer phone calls from Sprint everyday! I asked if this would also take care of our cell phone numbers, but Sprint doesnt telemarket cell numbers. So I asked what about calls based on that number? So she gave me yet another phone number to call! I told her you know, weve been pretty happy with Sprint up until now, but I think we may just switch because of all this. She said Im really sorry about all this which did make me feel a little better. But Im still POd about all this and its going to take a long time and a lot of smoozing by Sprint for me to feel better. This is plain ridiculous!
