It is what it is. I guess my "big picture" wasn't interviewing person after person 5 days a week. You have to understand what you get in to because what you do becomes who you are. I must say that I was never lied to, cheated etc, etc. Cydcor is multi level marketing end of story. Based entirely on recruitment. Business is business, if it were easy then more then 5% of americans would be making over 100k.
I got to a point were I hated selling for them, not because i was not making money but because at the end of every day i would have to run around like an jacka$ ringing a bell hi-5ing people becuase i did my job, if mom and dad could see me doing that I'd be spending holidays alone. Telling me that hangout with them is manditory; no thanks! They sent me to that Top Gun thingy, i was dissapointed that i didnt get to see the drunken monkey that organized this event i say this because no human being can purposely organize something that wastes so much time I truely believe that a sober monkey could do better.
O.K. Enough I'll talk FACTS now.
Lets talk 1st Horizon (campain)
Fact: very competative product
Fact: in December there were 50 offices on the campain and in Febuary there were 43. This does not support growth.
Fact: out of 43 offices 16 reps avg. 1 app. Per day.
Fact: the #1 office on the campain did 247 apps in febuary. Between 35 persons. This means most of the office made very very little money.
Fact: every sales force in the world has 85% of the sales being done by 15% of the sales force, but this does not mean that the other 85% are going broke.
Fact: when mixing business and your personal life together you are more likely to make bad decissions for yourself
Alrigh, now the big question, why does cydor help incoperate offices that may become potental competitors? Meaning letting you open your own company. Here is my thoery:
1. They still must have total control. Ie. They tell you who does your companies books.
2. Imagine if enron outsouced their accounting, then it would have been another companies problem and enron would not have been to blame. My point is this, client, ie, bellsouth, is getting a lot of complaints, from cydcor sales in an area, calls cydor to complain, cydcor cancells contract w / manager tells bellsouth that the problem was w / a subcontractor who is no longer in cydcors employ. Smart huh?
Know what your getttng in to and remember business is war therre are no win win situations, if there is a winner then there has to be a loser or many many losers, even Dale Carnegie who wrote "how to win friends an influence people" had striking union workes shot.
So you become the owner of nothing and spend your time hiring as many people as you can get fun fun
