So I am speaking from a management point of view. This company is terrible in all aspects, other than learning the basics of sales so that you can gain experience to work someplace better! Cydcor and The Marketing Group TRAIN you to LIE, CHEAT, and do whatever it takes to get ahead.
The way they teach it to you makes you believe that you are not doing anything wrong too. The Admin/Recruiter is told NEVER tell people its commission based or that it is door to door, which is against Cydcor policy technically, but the offices do it anyways. When you go in for an interview, they "impulse" or "fear of loss" you to make a decision right away so that you don't have time to think about it and it stays at that pace from that point on. That is when they train you do to the same to others to bring them in. They work until you get to the point where you are at management, but you are so used to dealing with this kind of stuff and with "rejection" that its an everyday normal thing.
The managers, like HEATHER HERMAN, YOUNG YOON, JOHN WIGGINS, Etc all know it is a scam but they have been doing it for so long they don't know how to do anything else and they just keep convincing people otherwise. They also have no life or friends outside "the business" because they made it their life. They sleep with eachother, go out with eachother, etc. Heather Herman even slept with one of the top dogs Bobby Park just to make a name for herself in Cydcor. Oh she did, and she thinks its a good one until you get the word from outside her office. She is a big joke and other offices dwell on her making a fool out of herself, either it be sleeping with another top guy or thinking she gets special privledges above other offices. I have news for you Heather, you aren't a Senior National Consultant yet, you are just an owner, and have been for a while now.
They think people that come in, that would be wonderful candidates elsewhere, are not a right fit because of the way they look or because of their background. If someone is a little overweight, they say "oh he just wasn't our style". What kind of style is that, you don't work in the fashion industry and not everyone is 5'9' and 110 pounds.
This company is terrible in all aspects, and the sad thing is that they will never be stopped, nobody will ever take the time and effort into bringing them down. Their insight on these postings are "oh those are people that have nothing better to do with their time than talk shit about a job they couldn't do". Thats why I make more money than all of you now, work less hours, have a life with and without co-workers, get a PAID vacation and I don't have to work weekends.
People for some reason don't wake up to this until they have really left the business. Then they start their new job, and they see all the perks that they are getting, they are like, WOW why did I waste my time and money.
If you want to work your a* off for about 2years working door-to-door in the field and then spend the rest of your career sitting behind a desk (which less than 1% get to that point because people smarten up and leave) interviewing new suckers to go in the field and make you money, then this is the company for you, butjust be ready to be ridiculed! And hopefully, eventuall brought down!
Just be smart this is your career!
