Arbordahl and Associates is a door to door sales team that claims to be operated independently, however it is in fact a division of Cydcor. Upon sending a resume to Arbordahl, one is interviewed for approx. 10 minutes then sent home, The interviewer explains that the company is growing and that they are interviewing 24 canidates and only 1 or 2 will be recieving a call. Then they ask when the best time to reach you is.
You most certainly will recieve a phone call later that day asking you to return the very next day for a 2nd "interview." A monkey could get a sccond interview, my guess is that everyone got a call back. On the "interview" you are not given a straight answer when asked what it is that the company does and are assured that it is not a scam by the interviewr. You return for the second interview and are greeted by many young "executives and managers" that are overly enthusiastic about all owning their own company within the year. They congratulate you on "making the cut."
You are then given information on CYDCOR a most disagreeable parent company to read at your own lesiure, and then sent out on your second interview where you go door to door and attempt to get busisnesses to sign contracts for phone service. During the second interview when talking to busisnesses the word contract is never mentioned. I think this is illegal. We went to several non english speaking neighborhoods and signed people up often for several years at astronomical rates. I wanted to leave but I couldn't because my car was back at the office and I had to follow the "sales rep/marketing manager" around all day.
The entire company had a freakish cult vibe. Everyone is obsessed with the promise of retirement at 40 and a six figure income at 25. The fact is that this is a MULTI LEVEL MARKETING PYRAMID SCHEME designed by CYDCOR or it's parent company. All of the associates are promised leadership opportunities and follow the "president" around like he's a messiah. The fact is that there are several hundred offices in the country working for CYDCOR doing the same exact thing. I urge anyone to look at CYDCOR's track record before talking to Arbordahl.
