This is an email i wrote to a person i know after reading all about Cydcor and thought this might help others.
After reading over your website and noticed a lot of interesting information about Cydcor aka cult type sales company... Well your right on point with a lot of things. The main reason (in my belief) why Cydcor (or what else it has been known by) get away with what they do isn't even posted on your website or any other sites that I researched (which means this information may already exist). Now you have taken some time and compiled a lot of information about them (which I think is great) but you need to point out how they (Cydcor & affiliates) get away with what it is they do because there has to legal action taken against them. To many people are complaining but no one is doing anything about it.
Each office or affiliate (aka Quantum Marketing etc) are all ICLs, an ICL or Independent Corporate License is the "lingo" that the "boss" of "Quantum Marketing" tells his salespeople that they are eligible for (which is true). Well after a little research I can't seem to find how one acquires an ICL. Now I am not a corporate lawyer so I could be wrong, but I am assuming that "ICL" is a fancy term to explain a business that is Incorporated but not directly affiliated with the company that owns the product or with Cydcor. Once you are promoted to "Manager" you can incorporate your own business which may or may not be a direct affiliate of Cydcor or the other names it is known by... Most likely there is a contract in place between the product owner and Cydcor which allows Cydcor to use their "Business Associates" aka an ICL to sell the product. Then there might be a contract between Cydcor and an ICL, don't get confused though these are all separate contracts independent of one another. That makes anything said, sold or done by any of the ICLs regardless of how its done, not a responsibility of the company that owns the product or of Cydcor.
That tells me that if enough people and a decent lawyer got together, a class action lawsuit could be held against Cydcor most likely on grounds of misinterpretation, deceit, misrepresentation and dishonest business code of conduct, not only of the product (here comes the part everyone wants to hear!) but in the hiring, interviewing and training of candidates of each ICL. It could be a profitable thing, or just for the good of society.
Just to let you know I did work for an ICL, and after almost 4 months of working with them (everyone that works in an ICL if they didn't know it is an independent contractor) to much lying and deception took its toll on me and I quit. I am not upset at them, or at what was done but once I looked deeper into the looking glass I found many people deceived and cheated which is not right.
