My husband and I checked into the RAMADA INN MAINGATE WEST in Orlando, Fl., as part of a vacation package through Caribbean Cruise Lines. We arrived at lunch time to SANDWICHES with old bread that fell apart as we tried to eat them. Our room had red stains all over the carpet, the bedcover was torn, there was mold in and around the tub. There was a USED BAR OF SOAP with a hair on it in the shower of our room... The vents were rusted entirely and the room smelled as though it had flooded and not been aired out for weeks. We called and asked for a MAT for the tub and received a TOWEL... We checked out a day early because of the deplorable conditions. The worst part was that the employee that checked us out was not surprised or sensitive to our complaint at all. I may actually post the photos that we took of our room on FB so that others will not pay to stay at this establishment in the future! I was absolutely appalled!!!
