Delay to obtain replacement pieces

Dear sir/madam,
I have recently bought my first Toyota car. It is a Corolla XEI. Very nice car. However, despite the excellent reputation of customer assistance that Toyota has, I have been facing a terrible experience with the client service of a specific Toyota seller in Belo Horizonte, Brazil (Osaka Pampulha). On November 9th, a Saturday, I took my car to the store as the electronic injection light was on in the internal panel of the car. I was promptly attended and the mechanic detected that the electronic injection cable, underneath of the car had being chewed by one of my dogs but not completely sectioned. The mechanic tried to isolate the cables but the electronic injection light in the panel did not turned off. So, he said that I would have to leave the car so he could do a detailed detection on Monday. They could not solve the problem with a quick look on Monday and the car was schedule for a more detailed examination on Wednesday, November 13th. They called me on Wednesday saying that I will have to have the cable changed and for that they will need to order the piece from another state and it would take 4 (four) working days. As Friday, November 15th, was a holiday for us, the piece only arrived on Wednesday of the next week, November 20th. As soon as they replaced the cable, they called me saying that the problem was not solved and the alert sign was still on in the panel, meaning that the engine control module would also need to be replaced. Again, they did not have the piece in stock and had to order from another state. The price of the piece would be R$ 3,405.00 (about 1,240.00 USD), plus the labor R$ 660,00 (about 285.00 USD). The piece would take other 4 (four) working days to arrive and they promised that the car would be ready on November 28th. Well, today is December 1st, Sunday, and as far as I know the piece has not arrived yet. It has been 22 days that I left my car in one of the largest Toyota seller of the city (Belo Horizonte is the capital of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil).in conclusion, unfortunately, this specific Toyota retailer (Osaka Pampulha) is putting the name of this Japanese company down to the drain. More than three weeks have passed and no solution obtained. At the end, I will still have to pay almost 8% of the price of a brand new car, R$ 70,000.00 (about 28,500.00 USD). Too much money for a terrible service. Question: Why big retailer do not have replacement pieces in stock? Why Toyota pieces are so expensive?
Cordially,
Roberto Guedes
