I own a 2002 Toyota Rav 4, and recently received a letter about a "Harsh Shift" problem that toyota was aware of in my model. When I went to the dealership (Elk Grove Toyota) I was informed that my car was over the warranty! This problem is because of Toyota's defective product... Not anything I did, and not because of the mileage on my car. They need to fix their defective product, haven't they had enough recalls lately. I will never buy another Toyota.
