My undergraduate student was punched in his face by a graduate student at Barry University. My son protected his self but was the one arrested was told he has anger issues if you got punched without warning what you expect. The other student was not removed from campus was allowed to keep taking classes the whole fall semester where as my son was arrested, suspended for fall and spring appealed it, was told they will reconsider if he takes see a anger mangament therapist which we spent 700 dollars on and will consider allowing him to return Jan spring 2014. My son called to get his classes registered but was told he can't he wasn't allowed and if the suspension get lifted he still can't due to a balance of 6,000 when asked why the balanced was told they returned his loans because he withdrew from Barry my son did not withdraw nor did he drop out he was forced off campus was not allowed to attend classes wanted to attend but barry trying to make it impossible for him to attend there or any other university without paying no transcript will be released so where he stand a bill he can't pay and no way to get into any school without transcript. If I didn't need loans I would never applied so why send back money that was helping my son get fall semester paid for. I cannot pay this amount of money don't have it and my son wants to go back to school. So while the others student who punched my son first and tapes shows this they still did nothing to justify the situation now my son have to fight charges at court and can't go to school this isn't fair or just! I ask to see tapes no one would allow me to but told me yes he was punched first but he should have walked away! Bull crap both students should have been suspended but barry slandered my son name hung a picture of him up all around campus like he was a criminal I want this dealt with I want just for my son education his name cleared.
