Please do not hire this company to be cheated. They / the guy (Allen alias Qasim Ali) dose not fix the problem but take the money and will not come back to serve you again to fix your problem. I had tried to email them (please check there website) and none of the email address is accessible! There is no physical address available in their website for the business. Please read what he did with me when I trusted him!

I live in Scarborough (Toronto). I called the Toronto refrigeration & major appliance repair on August 26 afternoon. I had found their phone number 647-472-4500 and services details (24/7) in the internet. Unfortunately I did not notice any scam at that point regarding this company / person (in their website only good testimony's available). After I explained that my refrigerator's bottom portion is not cooling however the top portion is filling up by ice. They gave me same day schedule and showed up in the evening. The Technician introduced himself as Allen but when he called me before he arrived at our home his name displayed as Qasim Ali in my cell phone. When I mentioned that to him he told me that his actual name is Qasim Ali but it is easy in Canada to introduce as "Allen". Anyway, he looked into the refrigerator and opened one portion and claimed that 2 parts has to be replaced. He offered us one year's warranty for parts and labor instead 90 days. We have 2 kids and school year is going to start just after the long weekend. We were in rush because without refrigerator it is difficult to maintain daily life specially if both parents are full time employee. We asked the price and Allen (Ali) confirmed after calling someone regarding the availability of the parts that it will cost in total CAD$375. He also mentioned that the warranty period will be one year instead of 90 days and instructed to wave $39.95 service fees. He took CAD100 as deposit with next day repairing schedule. He came on August 27 around $11:30AM before my wife was about to go to work and my elder brother was there just in case that "Allen" need more time to fix the refrigerator so my brother can stay that time at home after my wife leave. He took only 15 to 20 minutes and took the remaining balance of CAD 275 signed the paper as paid which he filled out the other day as agreement of deposit of CAD100. As of this everything was looking very good. Things just turned around unfortunately within 2 days we became abandoned by that person or the company. My wife noticed the same problem within 2 days after the repair took place. I called and left voice message for the first time.interestingly earlier every time I had called or sent text I got immediate answer! I sent a text message to Allen (Ali) regarding the problem and requested to call me back. No answer for 3 days and within that period I had left few voice message. Then on September 3 I called from my home phone (I took a day off for my son's first day at new grade) and Allen (Ali) received the call (I had recognized is voice). He apologized for not getting back to due to the long weekend (24/7 days service!) and told me that he will call me back for a schedule which did not happen till late afternoon! I had called back and left VM again. After that day he neither receive my call nor responded my text messages when I had usage my cell phone.interestingly, when I called to that 647-472-4500 from my work phone (unknown to him) he received the call. First time I did not say anything. Second time I called him again and tried to spoke to him. Right after I had mentioned his name he just hung up the phone. After that I had sent a text message saying that I am going to report this to the Police if he dose not resolve this issue. I got his quick responds. He wrote that he was too busy to serve other clients, his call was dropped so he could not hear me and he dose not scare about Police since he did not do anything wrong! This is just a "honest mistake"!! He will call me back to fix the refrigerator when he can make a schedule. He never called me back as time passes. I had sent few more text and than he replied that he asked his company to credit me the payment I had made.By this time I had called another company from a personal reference and they found that toronto refrigeration& major appliance repair's technician (Allen or Ali) did not fix the real problem at all which causes the ice build up! And it will cost us another almost CAD525!! We paid the 2nd technician his fees only (did not repair the refrigerator).
That's why I said do not hire this person (or that company) to be cheated. Now its up to YOU who intends to get the service from this person or the company.
