We purchased a Mitsubishi eclipse from ADO around july 31st 2013. When arriving to pick up the vehicle the car wasn't in the lot the sales team had no idea where the car was. They did up finding the car in the body shop because no one told them the car had been sold already. ADO did give us a bright yellow Saturn to drive until the car got out I the body shop the car's fuel light was on. My husband put 40 dollars in the car thinking that would get him through the 3 days until his car was available. The dealership called him the next day and said we need you to bring the yellow Saturn back we just sold it. Great after we just put gas in the car. Keep in mind we do live over 30 miles away. My husband drove there once again to return the car we were using and recieved a different car that was also low on gas. The car was finally ready for pick up. We picked up the car the following day the car broke down on the highway the water pump went out. We called ADO told them the issue and they told us you bought the car as is. We kept persisting that they needed to fix the vehicle so they told us go ahead bring the car in we will take care of it for you. We rented a uhaul dolly ($45) to get it over to them. We had even bought the parts for the car ourselves. When we get the car loaded up and take it back to the dealership they tell us it's going to cost $100 to do the work. Whatever we already drove all this way again I'm sick of dealing with this. ADO said the car would be done in 3 days this time. So after 3 days we called to get the status on the car and no one answered there phone we left several messages no one would call us back via text or phone for 2 weeks. So we decided to go to the dealership to see what was going on. Sat aug 24th we drove to talk to someone we talked to James he said he would call us on Monday at lunchtime never recieved a call. I called James Tuesday aug. 27th he said he would figure out what was going on with the vehicle. He also told me that now there might be an extra $100 fee on top of the original $100 dollars. I said no you have had the car for over 2 weeks now they should have told us that before we dropped it off or within this 2 week timespan. He sai he would take care of me. James called me back on wed. Aug 28th said the car was ready to be picked up. Finally we get the car pay the original $100 and take off. As I am following my husband we get within 10 miles to our house and the car breaks down again. I called to let James know what had happened aug28th. I called Juan the general manager to discuss taking the car back and he tells me you bought the car as is and if you didn't want this to happen you should have bought a more expensive car.in Juan case he would have actually profited off the offer I was making to him because we bought the parts it needed we even paid $100 to them on top of everything. He would get the money back on the body work they did to the car that was there mistake. We had previously been told that if we purchased the car and didn't like it we could bring it back. My husband had already tried that when the car wasn't ready for pick up when he originally bought the car. They are liars and cheats. I talked to an attorney she told me the more people who file complaints against them the more the Ohio attorney general will investigate them. These poor people with reviews online have had way bigger problems with them than me so please let's show these people this is bad business and they should not be allowed to take advantage of people this way.
