I saw an article on Dr Oz about Garcinia Cambogia so looked on the Internet and came across a site that offered a free sample of this product. I filled in the online form and was contacted a couple of days later by a telemarketer who tried to sell me a large order of the product. I ended up ordering a single bottle and paid by credit card.
A couple of days later I received a call from a telemarketer with very poor English who identified themself as working for a company associated with Healthy Choice Labs called Elite Fitness. They told me that because I had ordered from Healthy Choice Labs I was eligible for a trial membership to something, I really couldn't understand her but it appeared that my credit card was then going to be debited every month after the free trial. I told them categorically that I did not want to proceed under any circumstances and in fact was now worried about my initial purchase and asked them to cancel my order and refund my payment. She told me she couldn't do that and gave me a telephone number that turned out not to exist.
I have tried to email them but simply receive an automated email response from a no reply email address stating my details are being handled and to expect to be contacted by customer service. I then receive another email with a telephone number that simply does not exist. I've sent numerous emails and the response has been exactly the same. The company seems to be uncontactable or chooses not to respond. I've included my phone number but no calls, no cancellation, no refund and no Garcinia Cambogia: (
I have also done a Whois search and the site also has numerous other web sites/addresses. My advice is buyer beware, go to your local chemist/pharmacy or health store and buy the goods over the counter. I'm fairly sure I've been ripped off.
