I booked 6 IPL treatments through groupon and after the first treatment was told that 6 would be enough for my face but may need one more top up.By the fourth treatment I was told I would need another 8. I paid a further £99 and had two more sessions - one of which I had to cancel on the day due to ill health and I offered proof from hospital but was told I had forfeited that session. When I turned up for the nxt session the salon was closed with a scrappy note on the door saying the salon was shut due to personal circumstances. Due to non flexibility of the appointments I had to take half a day off. My journey took me an hour every time.
I left several messages on the ansaphone over the next few weeks. Finally getting through a couple of months later. The member of staff said that due to the owner losing the Licence they had to shut. She offered me a free blow dry which I refused and asked then on three separate phone calls for the manager to call me back. I heard nothing. I decided to go in to see if we could resolve this face to face only to be met with hostility, rudeness and threatening behavior by the manager/owner, Meeta Patel. We asked for a refund but were refused very aggressively and were told to take her to court. We are going to take this up with Wandsworth Council, Trading Standards and Watchdog and urge you ll to do the same as this woman should not be allowed to trade.
