I ordered my 3 & 5 yr old cranberry juice with their dinner. The waitress brought out 2 kids size cups with lids and straws. My 3yr old started to drink it and I noticed the color was not right, it was pinkish and not the cranberry red color. I decided to taste my 5 yr olds before I gave it to him. At first I thought it was just a mix of grapefruit juice and cranberry and then I realized the taste was alcohol. When I told the waitress, she agreed that she thought the color was off. Then I was told it was Bahama Mama. The waitress and manager apologized and that was it. The waitress made a joke to my kids about how they should not drive a couple of times. If the food was not on the table with my kids eating it I would have walked out. It was a late dinner for us (7:30). We got the bill and was not charged for the Bahama Mamas, I paid the bill and as I was leaving the manager started to tell me about the new kids menu and I explained how upset I was and he just said sorry, and the waitress came by again and told me kids not to drive. Then the manager saw my face and offered me 10% off the next time I come in and my face must of showed how insulted I was. Then he offered me 2 for 1. I told him I was insulted. If it wasn't for the fact that I am a parent that pays attention and questioned the color of the drink, my kids could of drank the entire thing. He then said, they didn't drink much of it, A sip is too much, how dare he say that to me. I did not want to make a scene in front of my kids, so we left. I am still really upset about this, i cannot help to think what could of happened if they did drink that entire drink! How do they know my kids medical history or if they are medication. The entire experience was horrendous and the way it was handled was as if it was a joke! I think that is why I am upset because it was a joke to them!
