Attended a presentation for a vacation club which was presented as a timeshare. As I already owned a timeshare and they presented their program using the same vacation book I was familiar with I felt comfortable and made the purchase. After I got home I reviewed the package and discovered I was lied to and misled. I immediately sent a certified letter requesting cancellation and termination! I also contacted my credit card company and this company sent their bogus response defending a contract that they didn't fully disclose. The information that listed all of the guidelines and practices were not even shown for my review. I contacted the company to get out of the contract and they said since I called my credit card company they would have to see what decision they made. Now that my credit card company has declined to remove the charge the company has refused to make it right. I have not tried to use it because if they lied on the front end I don't trust them on the backend. I want a full refund and no more afliliation with Grand Discovery Travel.
