Mark Dabold at Timeshare Hot List presented me with their marketing strategy for renting my timeshare; however when I received a contract, it had clauses that concerned me. I was promised a revised contract on 9/17 and again the following day. I never received one.in response to my question, Mark indicated that I needed to sign the contract and return it before it would take effect. I never received a new contract, hence I never returned one.
At first I thought we were just having trouble finding a time when we were both available but after my calls stopped being returned, I became suspicious.in good faith I gave a credit card number to charge $1259.00 before the first contract was sent knowing that consistant with their contract I had 3 business days to cancel after receipt of confirmation which I got on 9/19. I left a message requesting a return call or cancellation on 9/20. I received none.
I called again on the 21st and was told no one was available. This was all extremely stressful and when I saw another report on your web site regarding the same company, I knew I had been duped. I'm currently working on getting my money back through my credit card company.
I want to pass this along so hopefully others will not have to go through a similiar ordeal.
