In looking at different phone plans I determined Sprint had what I was looking for. I decided on a $29.99 200 minute plan. The sales rep signed me up and as I as looking over the contract I noticed that Sprint offered a 15% discount on plans for a military veteran. I inquired about it to the sales rep. He said to bring in my DD-214 and he would sign me up for the discount. I did this the following week and he submitted it. When I got home I received a e-mail from Sprint denying the discount. Their reason was that it did not apply to the plan. The sales rep clearly told me I qualified for it. That was the reason I signed the contract. He clearly mislead me in order to get the sale. I feel this contract should be null and void based on misleading statements by one of the parties.
