I booked car rental 10 days prior the trip. Next morning my car wouldn't start, 2 hours later I find out about $328 damage and called back Hotwire to cancel reservation due to emergency, within 24 hours. My explanation wasn't urgent enough for Hotwire, despite their policy.
1. It's unfair to charge for unused services
2. Hotwire should have some grace period for cancellations, at least
