Did a free 1 month trial with one of those credit score companies then canceled it. Continued to get charged twice a month for a year with out knowing it. Yes, I am idiot. But they changed the name of their company 4 times with in that year so it did not stand out to me. I called today and they refuse to do full refund bc I should have noticed I was getting charged and by not calling and cancelling I was accepting whatever offer I was paying for (something with tech support, road side assistance, etc). I asked if they could see that I had not accessed the offer in any way so I wasn't just trying to get money from them and they wouldn't acknowledge me. The guy just kept saying from our perspective this is your fault. And because their notes say I agreed to keep the service at a lower charge (even though I called to cancel it and did so why would I cancel and continue the service?) they are saying its their word against mine.
