My Husband was placed in this motel by his company (Republic Waste, INC.in Midland TX and his company had given the Motel there credit card for room charges. His Check in date was May 7th and check out date was May 1th at the time of check in he was asked if he had a credit card? He asked why the clerk said that thy needed to suspend $50.00 for incidental charges that might occur. So my husband in Good Faith did as requested for the room. At the morning of Check out they asked again for his credit card so the $50.00 could be put back on his card. Well the $50.00 was returned but they charged our card the full amount of the room and also charged his company so they were doubled paid. We reported this unauthorized charge on Sunday after multiple attempts to contact bank and motel with no avail. Called the number on the back of card. Reported and then Monday morning May 13th was at our Bank when it happened, reported it to them in person and the motel and since have been getting the run around from the Motel Assistant Manager, Christa F. Reed at 432-669-4144, her comments have been nice, but she has said several times this isn't the first time. As of this morning we still have no resolution to this unauthorized charge.
